In Saint-Côme, Lanaudière, the Gollé Goulu offers a one-of-a-kind lodging experience for every taste, from the most adventurous ones to the most curious ones. At the Gollé Goulu, you can sleep, walk around and, depending on the season, enjoy the fruits grown there.
Nourishing LandThe Gollé Goulu is before anything else 200 acres of land surrounded by the Laurentian Mountains, and then a family project guided by a double vision: enhancing biodiversity and welcoming the people who wish, for a few days, to get back to nature. The Gollé forest, which means “valley located between two mountains”, is the perfect place to go for a walk and have a “forest bath”, to visit the orchard-garden, to make discoveries and enjoy delicious food, and to stay in a lodge, relax and contemplate life.
On-site ActivitiesAt the Gollé Goulu, there are about 10 kilometres of accessible pathways and hiking trails in the forest for walking or snowshoeing. The Pierres Blanches Trail, which begins near the reception, goes all the way to the national trail (Swaggin River Trail) toward the Mont Tremblant and Chute-à-Bull Parks. During the winter, the fishing pond turns into a skating rink and the field, where bees gather pollen and goldenrods bloom during the summer, into cross-country ski trails and snow slides for both grownups and children.
Back to BasicsLocated near the sinuous Assomption River, twenty kilometres from the Mont Tremblant Park’s entrance (Assomption area) and an hour and a half from Montreal, the Gollé Goulu has seven ready-to-camp units, including a yurt and a Witente, rustic camping sites with sandboxes for your tent, and a few serviced sites for small vans and tent trailers (or very small RVs). The ecolodges and small RV sites are accessible by car and the camping sites are accessible on foot. Nature and hygge lovers: welcome to our “country camping”!
Outdoor RecreationA wide variety of outdoor activities are offered nearby: canoeing on the Assomption River, alpine skiing, fishing in outfitters, rock climbing, mountain biking, fat biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on a large network of trails.

Located in a small valley between two mountains, the Gollé Goulu offers different accommodation units, including mini-cabins, a yurt, a Witente and rustic campsites; it also has a play area, a reception pavilion and washroom facilities with essential services. The Gollé Goulu is also many kilometres of hiking trails, including an access to the National Matawinie Trail and the Saint-Côme village’s trails. We slept two nights in the cabin #3 in August 2021. The cabin is well equipped and clean. It is secluded and the fireside is well arranged. We really appreciated the exterior shower, it works really well. There are a lot of hiking trails close to Saint-Côme, including the Shawinigan trail. We really appreciated our stay.
